Is AAPD refunding any flights or travel costs?
AAPD will not refund individual travel costs. Please check with your airline regarding their current refund policies.

Will AAPD 2020 take place later this year?
At this time, AAPD has weighed all options for an alternate date, but has chosen not to reschedule AAPD 2020.

My Poster Submission was accepted to be presented at this year’s conference. What should I do about my poster?

Join us as we take the My Kids Dentist & Orthodontics Poster Session virtual! All posters participants will have the ability to submit audio recordings of them explaining their research. Browse our poster app and check out all the hard work and findings in pediatric dental research.

The Graduate Student Research Award (GSRA) was established in 1989 for pediatric dentistry residents and recent graduates.  Eight finalists have been selected and will be virtually presenting their research. Please take a moment to check out their videos.

I was invited to receive an award at the conference. How will I receive this recognition?
Recognition of your achievement is important to the AAPD and the pediatric dental community. We will contact all award recipients and identify next steps in the coming weeks.

I am nominated to serve on the AAPD Board or AAPD Foundation Board. When will I begin my term of service?
The AAPD Board of Trustees and AAPD Foundation Board of Trustees votes on the slate of officers, directors and trustees. Because the AAPD BOT and AAPD Foundation BOT will not meet in person, AAPD is identifying an alternate method of installing leadership. We will be in touch with you in the coming weeks.

I am a sponsor or exhibiting company. To whom do I address questions?
Any sponsorship or exhibitor questions can be directed to Meetings, Exhibits and Sponsorship Manager, Colleen Bingle at cbingle@aapd.org.
